Jackson brings extensive experience across the aged care sector, including residential aged care, transitional care, community-based services, and in-home allied health delivery. His background spans both clinical and operational leadership within complex service environments, including oversight of multidisciplinary allied health teams. His experience includes leading service transformation, workforce capability development, and implementation of evidence-based care models, as well as close engagement with government frameworks, sector reform priorities, and quality standards. He also has direct experience working with regulators such as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, supporting providers to strengthen clinical aged care services.
Jackson has led and delivered large-scale quality improvement initiatives across multiple aged care and transitional care sites, including the design and implementation of organisation-wide falls prevention and improvement programs that have resulted in measurable improvements in safety outcomes. He has contributed to the successful turnaround of underperforming and non-compliant aged care services, supporting progression through regulatory processes and achieving full reaccreditation against national standards. His work also includes developing and implementing clinical governance tools, assessment frameworks, and reporting systems that enhance executive decision-making. Jonathan is particularly skilled at navigating complex care environments, aligning multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that both patient outcomes and organisational objectives are met. Jonathan brings a breadth of experience working with older adults across both the aged care and hospital sectors, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the continuum of care.
